DO have a loose fitting gown or clothing ready. If you plan on driving, we recommend having you put a towel on the seat of the car to prevent any possible issues with the contact to the leather.
DO have a loose fitting garment to wear after your tan. Nothing that could leave a mark or rub away your tan in certain areas. (side note - we sell tan dresses in case you want to make sure you have the proper attire)
DON’T shower with soap when you first shower after your tan. You want to lightly rinse off, no harsh scrubbing or soaking for long periods.
DO put on lotion or moisturizer at least twice a day if not more
DON’T exercise immediately after and avoid water which can cause streaking or unwanted marks as your solution is setting
DO pat dry with your towel after showering
DON’T shower until your technician tells you to rinse off

+ How should I best prepare for my spray tan?
- 24 hours before, exfoliate your entire body with mild, oil free exfoliant while using a body buff.
- Wax, shave and get manicure and pedicures 24 hours in advance
- Do not apply moisturizer on the day of your tan other than to the knees, elbows and feet.
- Remove all jewelry.
- Make sure all make-up, deodorants or anything of the kind is properly removed before the start of your appointment.
+ What should I wear after my tan?
- Wear something dark, loose fitting and comfortable.
- Cotton is preferable because it easily washes out any left over tint from your service.
- Avoid bras and clothings that will rub or leave a mark.
- Avoid socks and shoes, flips flops are preferable.
+ What should I not do after my tan?
- Avoid running, going to the gym or any other sweaty physical activities to protect the tan from running. Please ask your technician their recommendation based on you tan service selection.
- Avoid contact with water which could result in lines or uneven tanning.
+ When do I shower after my tan?
- ask your technician and based on your selected tan, we will tell you the best time to shower after your service. Times can range from 2 hours to 8 hours after the service.
+ Do I use soap when showering after my tan?
- No, you will just want to rinse off with warm water. No soaps, abrasives or anything of the sort.
+ How do I best care for my tan?
- Always wear sunscreen.
- Staying hydrated, applying lotion 2 to 4 times per day and avoiding any retinol, exfoliants, etc. will be help to give you the longest lasting tan possible
- Using tan extenders or drops in your lotion will also greatly help the life of your tan. ask your technician for our available products that are perfectly suited for our tans.
+ Do you offer group tans?
- We absolutely do and would love to accomodate any size group.
- Please go to our booking and book based on the number of people. For example, if it is a group of 3, book 3 individual appointments back to back and just denot it in the notes.

+ What are your Non-Membership cancellation policies?
- our cancellation policy is appointments cancelled within 24 hours are subject to a 50% charge of the service fees. And if your appointment is cancelled within 8 hours of your appointment time, you will be charged the full service fee for your visit.
+ What are your Membership cancellation policies?
- If you cancel your appointment within 24 hours, you may choose one of the following options:
- Forfeit that tan for the week or
- Pay a $25 rescheduling fee, and rescheduling is based on availability and therefore not guaranteed
+ What is the Group Tanning cancellation policy?
- The cancellation Policy applies to each person in your group and the person who booked the party is responsible for the their cancellation fee.
- Groups cancellation fees are the same as the non-member cancellation fees and policies
+ What is your Timeliness Policy?
- All clients must be ready at the start of the appointment time, including showered, exfoliated, shaven, make-up removed, all jewelry removed and all other preparations.
- Each client is given a 6 minute grace period after the start time of your appointment. Anything past 6 minutes will be considered a no-show fee and will be charged at the full service rate regardless if services were rendered.
+ What is your Appointment Scheduling Policy?
- We do our very best to accommodate your requested appointment date and time. However due to traffic, unforeseen delays, etc. we may have to move your appointment, give or take, 30 mins depending on the situation. We will give you as much advance notice as possible because we value your time as much as ours. Therefore, please plan accordingly for the time buffer when scheduling.
+ What are my responsibilities as the client?
- It is the responsibility of the client to adhere to the pre and post tanning instructions in order to ensure the best quality tan and tanning experience. If the client chooses to forgo any of the pre or post tanning instructions, Gleaux on the Go cannot guarantee the outcome of the tan or tanning experience.
